On the theme of 'environmental citizenship and social behaviour', the third International Packaging Recovery Organisation Europe Congress will be held in France this month, and will be attended by Ing. Mario Schembri of GreenPak Limited, a member of the PRO Europe organisation.

The congress is under the patronage of the European Environment Commissioner, Stavros Dimas, and will highlight the role played by members of the congress, the umbrella organisation for European Green Dot packaging, packaging waste recovery and recycling schemes.

Among the key issues on the agenda will be the use of sustainable resources and the importance of environmental education for future generations.

GreenPak Ltd is a registered company established to run a government authorised waste compliance scheme across Malta and Gozo.
