The Summer School, run by the management of the MFA Swimming Pool at the Millennium Stand (Ta' Qali), came to a close earlier this week.

The summer classes encouraged participants to learn while having fun. Children of different ages and abilities were under the supervision of the pool's coaching staff, led by Alfred G. Cachia.

Other activities included Physical Education lessons in swimming for fourth and fifth form students who will be taking PE as an 'O' Level subject in the forthcoming MATSEC exams.

The MFA Swimming School is currently receiving applications for the winter schedule where lessons are held on Fridays (4 till 6 p.m.) and Saturdays (9.30 till 11.30 a.m.). The new term will commence next weekend. More information may be obtained by phoning 2142-2676 or 7930-2489.
