The Malta Amateurs team conceded another heavy defeat in the UEFA Regions Cup mini-tournament. Yesterday, they suffered a second successive 11-0 defeat in the space of three days, this time at the hands of Polish regional champions Dolnoslazski at the Oporowska Stadium, in Wroclaw, Poland.

On Monday, J.J. Aquilina's team went down 11-0 against Germany's Sachsocher and yesterday the Maltese were again outplayed. Dolnoslazski were already six goals up at half-time and then went on to consolidate their win with five more goals in the second period.

The Maltese finished the match with eight men after they had three players sent off.

The Malta Amateurs end their commitments tomorrow when they play Italian top regional team, Toscana.
