The electorate would do well to compare the policies of the two political parties, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said yesterday.
He said the Labour Party had talked about devaluing the lira by 10 per cent, serving its staunch supporters and adopting a policy of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Speaking in Gozo, Dr Gonzi said the MLP should spell out its policies to enable the people to choose between the two parties. The Prime Minister said the Labour Party was attempting to jeopardise the government's initiatives, including casting doubts over the Smart City project, which could put 5,600 new jobs at risk.
He said the PN had secured Lm200 million in foreign investment for Malta, compared with Lm18 million that Dr Sant's government had brought into the country.
