High level of dust

I read with interest the article concerning Mepa's action to stop the demolition of the works at Ta' Xbiex (September 7) following complaints about the dust causing inconvenience to the neighbourhood.

As a resident of San Pawl tat-Targa, who has to tolerate each day the inconvenience of dust, I would greatly appreciate it if a Mepa spokesman would inform me and other interested residents what action is being taken to reduce to EU standards the high levels of dust which bellow out each day from the neighbouring quarries and other industrial plants relating to the construction industry in the Burmarrad valley.
