Recently I drove to the airport but could not use the usual main road for, in its vicinity, several works, after several months, were still unfinished. All traffic has been diverted to one of the worst badly-surfaced roads on the island.

Is this the way to welcome and treat tourists? And why should similar works be undertaken during the peak of the tourist season?

Isn't it enough that tourism has gone to the dogs, and will remain so for an unpredictable period? Whoever is responsible for such state of affairs should get out - get out now!
