End of grape harvest

Camilleri Wines celebrated the end of the grape harvest at Mizieb Iz-Zghir in the limits of Manikata yesterday as its Vendemmia 2006 came to an end. Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino (above) was present at the event accompanied by Camilleri Wines general manager Louie Camilleri. Mr Pullicino said the ministry had published legislation that establishes standards for quality wine production in determined regions. Camilleri Wines this year produced 25 per cent more than the vintage 2005. Camilleri Wines has also launched a new range of Palatino wines together with the La Croce red and white and the new Blush rose.
