Camp for diabetics
The Maltese Diabetes Association held its annual summer camp at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, San Pawl Tat-Targa, bringing together young persons suffering from diabetes.
The event, sponsored by HSBC Cares For Children Fund, included educational activities on how to deal with diabetes.
The association has more than 1,000 members. It aims at educating its members and the public about diabetes and how to prevent complications arising from it. Educational talks are held monthly.
