Adel Kalifa, the five-year-old boy who was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday, is still in hospital but his condition has stabilised.

A Toyota van and an Opel car were involved in a collision at the Marsa crossroads. Two children were in the back seat of the car.

The boy's 36-year-old mother and her two-year-old daughter, who were also hospitalised, have been sent home. The van driver was not injured.
