Marsaxlokk council has condemned the Water Services Corporation for ignoring its appeals to repair the numerous water faults in the locality.

It pointed to the fact that water had been flooding Santa Katerina Street since Friday causing an inconvenience to residents, but despite the reports nothing had been done.

Apart from the long delays in fixing water pipes in other areas, the repairs were of an inferior quality, the council said yesterday.
