I am a senior citizen. The studio flat where I live is right on top of a bar.

I am writing to say a big thank you to WPC 31 and the sergeant at the Qawra police station for taking action after I lodged a report there at 12.40 a.m. on the night of last Friday/Saturday and asked them to order the bar owner to turn off his loud disco music.

The law says that music in bars must stop at 11 p.m. I had asked the owner on several occasions to respect the neighbours but he wouldn't listen. So, I had to file a report and now it's much better - the hours have been kept so far and I hope that it will remain so every summer.
