The Marsascala local council will celebrate Marsascala Day tomorrow.
A week-long programme of activities continues today with power boat races organised by the Malta Chaudron Power Boats Association in St Thomas Bay at noon, an exhibition of model boats at Il-Maghluq at 3 p.m. and an entertainment programme in front of St Thomas Tower at 8 p.m.
Taking part will be CATS dancers, the Paul Curmi Dancers and re-enacters from the Malta Tourism Authority and the Historical Re-Enactment Group.
There will be an animal blessing ceremony on the church parvis at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Mass at the parish church at 6 p.m. followed by a march by the Sant'Anna and San Gwakkin Band of the locality with the Marsascala girl guides.
A variety programme by Walter Micallef and Friends will be held at Dawret il-Maghluq at 8 p.m.
