Theft charge

A 23-year-old Libyan man was yesterday arraigned on theft charges.

Police Inspector Josric Mifsud charged Abdel Aziz Mehdi Grari with having committed two thefts of over Lm50 but under Lm1,000 each in Gzira and Bahar ic-Caghaq.

The man was further accused of having stolen items from cars belonging to Mark Cartwright and Ernest Holmes and with having threatened a police officer.
