Two men seriously injured in fall

Two Syrian men were seriously injured but were not critical yesterday after the scaffolding they were on gave way and they fell a height of two storeys, the police said.

The police added the men were carrying out construction work on a balcony in Triq il-Ferrovija, Hamrun at about 7 p.m. The men were rushed to hospital in an ambulance. The police are investigating.
