Helen O'Grady Academy's internationally acclaimed programme of development through drama will now be available in six localities around Malta.

The new locations will offer a convenient alternative to parents who are often left transporting their children across the island for evening classes. Classes will now be held in Sliema, Attard, Cospicua, Senglea, Birkirkara and Zebbug. Classes are also available most evenings and on Saturday morning.

The Helen O'Grady Academy provides children between the ages of five and 12 with unique opportunities to develop clear speech, fluent delivery and social skills.

The programme gives children the confidence to participate in all aspects of their lives, enables them to ask questions, seek answers and share information with others.

"The importance of drama as a development tool is indisputable," HOG principal Alan Montanaro said.

The academy also organises a Youth Theatre programme which is open to all teenagers and offers a comprehensive programme covering spontaneous improvisation within a set framework. Educational topics that matter especially to this sensitive age group are covered within the curriculum.
