Henry Pace's letter (August 25) regarding the rebuilding of the Opera House and the British government's failure to fund the project lacks logic. If, as he states, the government funded the rebuilding of a church in Dresden bombed by the allies, then does it not follow that the Germans/Italians should be approached regarding the Opera House?
