A man suffered serious injuries when he crashed into a parked Ford Focus while riding a motorcycle he had just allegedly stolen.

The police said the car was parked near Ta' Fra Ben in Qawra. Police on the beat in the neighbouring area were informed at about 3 p.m. on Saturday that a Yamaha bike had been reported stolen. At one point they spotted the motorcycle on the road and at that moment the driver lost control of the machine and crashed, the police said.
