What cheap flights?

British Jet adverts get to me. They advertise flights to London at Lm14. I had to return to the UK for medical reasons. I phoned British Jet for a flight and was told that Lm14 was only for the pre-booked flight and that's only for the first 13 people and they would not be available until September.

I was quoted Lm113 and had no option but to take it! Four days later, I had to pay Lm83 from Gatwick Airport, making a total of Lm196. How can they justify this?

In the UK, British Jet would not be allowed to advertise Lm14 flights. Can someone kindly tell me if Malta has similar laws?

I am 61 years of age and a permanent resident in Malta - which I love. Such a pity about the carriers!
