Mondial tour to Austria for word game winner

A Mondial tour to Austria and the Czech Republic and a year's membership in the Scrabble Club awaits the winner of the new word game series starting today.

The trip to Austria and the Czech Republic is a five-day holiday between November 1 and 5. It will take the winner to an optional excursion to the Salkammergut area where the film Sound of Music was shot; Mondsee to see the parish church where the wedding in the film was filmed; St Wolfgang to visit a village on the lake; Linz, which is the capital of Upper Austria and is built on both banks of the river Danube; a full-day optional excursion to Vienna, Cesky Krumlov, with its charming South Bohemian countryside; Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace and an optional half-day excursion to Steyr which is the third largest town in Upper Austria.

The prize is for one passenger sharing a twin room. All taxes, fuel surcharge, single room supplements meals and any excursions taken are excluded.

The six nine-letter words for the series that ended last Saturday were spadework, edelweiss, granulate, chronicle, parademic and squeamish.
