Celtic conceded a late equaliser to miss out on going top of the Scottish Premier League in a 1-1 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle yesterday.

Stephen Pearson slid home Celtic's opener from six metres following a diagonal pass into the area by Kenny Miller in the 26th minute.

With 10 minutes left, Thistle levelled as Grant Munro hooked a knee-high shot from the edge of the box which hurtled beyond keeper David Marshall into the right side of the net.

Rangers, who beat Hearts 2-0 on Saturday, are top with eight points from four games. Celtic are second on seven.
