Ray Bondin was one of the main speakers at an international conference called to evaluate the town of Steyr, in Austria, its surrounding industrial heritage and the possibility of it being admitted to the Unesco World Heritage List.

The participants were taken on a tour of the town and the iron ore mines in the area.

Dr Bondin is the executive coordinator of the Valletta and Cottonera rehabilitation projects.
