Screen legend Sophia Loren does not reveal any of her well-kept secrets behind her ageless beauty, eternal sex appeal and iconic status in an interview in the 22nd edition of Pink, which comes out with The Times tomorrow.

She is more concerned about having just become a grandmother, she tells Pink.

The August issue of the monthly magazine also offers a preview of winter fashion and the underwear that lies beneath, while the spotlight is shone on animal welfare and the dedicated women behind it. Pink also looks into migraine - the debilitating neurological condition that is three times more common in women than in men. At least 10 per cent of the population is afflicted with this mind-numbing version of the headache that threatens to put life on hold, and Pink looks into the triggers.

Other than that, the August edition includes all its regular features on fitness (what flexibility really is), beauty (the importance of correct eyebrow shaping), interiors (how to make the best of storage space), food (a recipe for homemade spring rolls), relationships (the problems faced by single mothers and their partners), breastfeeding, books and horoscopes, among others.

Pink's executive editors are Fiona Galea Debono and Ariadne Massa. It is published by Allied Newspapers Ltd, produced by MediaMaker and designed by Helen Cassar Torreggiani and Joseph Schembri.
