The Malta Transport Authority is advising persons buying new vehicles to ask importers or agents for their copy of the license disc receipt issued by the Licensing and Testing Directorate.

The license disc receipt details all the fees paid to the Licensing and Testing Directorate by the client and indicates when the documents were deposited by the agent at the LTD offices and when the vehicle was registered.
