Architects in both the private sector and the government service are reminded that the closing date for entry to the 2006 Din l-Art Óelwa Award for Architectural Heritage is August 31.

The Din l-Art Helwa Award for Architectural Heritage was launched primarily to encourage better architecture and to reward any building project which made an outstanding and significant contribution to architectural heritage in a Maltese context.

The 2005 Winner of the Award was the Valletta Waterfront Project by Architecture Project, which then also went on to win the Europa Nostra Prize for Architectural Heritage.
