The Aquilina Shield was at stake yesterday for the Malta Shooting Federation's Skeet competition on 50 clays and a 25-clay final.
At the end of a windy day, it was the young and talented Clive Farrugia who emerged winner for his fourth Skeet trophy of the season. He finished on 60 clays and secured the first position overall after scoring the best result in the barrage - 22.
Silvio Attard, who led Class A in competition with a score of 39/50, had to settle for second place one point behind the winner.
