Port levy
It is incredible that Maltese citizens or residents of Malta, whenever leaving Malta by sea for a trip lasting more than one day have to pay an extra Lm10 as port tax? Isn't this blatant discrimination? Other EU citizens not resident in Malta, using our port, are not subjected to this tax; shouldn't all EU citizens be treated equally regardless of their residence in the EU? I would suggest that the European Commission investigates the validity of such port levy.
