It is encouraging that the Malta Transport Authority has taken the initiative to create cycle lanes, even though they are somehow incomplete, with points at which cyclists have to think of ways to get across those stretches where there is no cycle lane...

It is encouraging that the Malta Transport Authority has taken the initiative to create cycle lanes, even though they are somehow incomplete, with points at which cyclists have to think of ways to get across those stretches where there is no cycle lane at all.

I would like to ask if the ADT is planning to create the same safer road space for riders commuting to Valletta. And with the introduction of entrance fees to the capital will there be charges for scooter riders too?

Can motorcyclists be allowed to benefit from the bus lanes? Allowing them to use bus lanes can have a positive impact on road safety by reducing their vulnerability on the road and at the same time fully integrating them into the transport system.
