At about 3.45 a.m. a Fiat Ritmo driven by a 33-year-old woman from Senglea crashed into a forklifter, operated by a 46-year-old man from Iklin, which was stationary in the middle of St Joseph High Road. The Fiat was extensively damaged, the police said.

An ambulance was called to take the passenger to hospital. She is not in danger in dying.
