I am Maltese and have been living in Scotland for the past 20 years. I am also a Merchant seaman with the RFA. Before I moved here, I used to live in Senglea.

While out in Singapore last May, I came across this street sign (above) in the village of Sembawang (I'm sure a few former RFA Maltese will recognise the name. It was a naval port where all the RN and RFA ships used to go. Part of it now is still at naval port but not on the scale it was in the Sixties and Seventies.)

I shall be returning to Singapore to join my ship RFA Bayleaf which is currently in refit out there. I'm looking forward to seeing the place again.
