The two bronze monuments to the late Pope John Paul II and Pius IX and the Ave Maria chime that have been placed on the stairs of the Cathedral in Victoria are proving to be an attraction, day and night, particularly for tourists visiting the Citadel in Victoria at this time of year.

The monument to John Paul II is very popular with Italian tourists who can be seen posing for photos with it, and that of Pius IX has some fine details that are worth examining.

Once the chime and monuments are blessed, they will be repositioned in the belfry. The bells have provoked lots of interest from visitors, especially the emblems and names that appear on the bells as well as how they are rung and their tunes.
