Uprooted

No amount of appearances with schoolchildren planting trees will help Environment Minister George Pullicino make us forget the worst ever move in the history of his government towards the environment.

The arrogant way in which the extravagant extension of development zones was carried out will not be forgotten. Planting small twigs of olive trees at Ta' Qali will not replace the hundreds of old trees, like carob trees, set to be uprooted all over the island, depriving the population from the real trees next door!

He is not welcome to use my children at school for such propagandistic stunts.
