Pride in the George Cross (5)

I am proud of the red and white background with the George Cross on it. This flag belongs to the Maltese people of today, and of yesterday, to those who died under the blazing guns, to those who died under the debris, to those who faced starvation. All these are not with us now because they sacrificed themselves for those who are living today, young and old, living free to say what we think.
