I enjoyed reading the article by Tony Mangion on June Allyson who died recently at 88 (The Sunday Times, July 23).

However there were two slips I want to point out.

First, the 1944 film was called Two Girls and a Sailor, not Two Sailors and a Girl. If I remember correctly the other girl was Gloria de Haven.

Further, the films mentioned Right Cross and The Reformer and the Red Head were certainly not produced in 1930. Both were made in 1950. At 13 Allyson would have been too young for romantic roles.

However I would like to read more of the same in the future please.
