Dynamic Promotions, in collaboration with Fresh Music Agency, will be holding the second Sole Summer Music Festival on August 19, following the success of the first edition, held earlier this month.
The Maxtura Fields in Marsalforn will host a number of local and international artists with five rooms playing different music, from tribal, progressive house and disco to R'n'B and trance.
Each room will be well equipped with the latest modern technology with light design and digital sound.
Local DJs performing include Ruby, JJoy, Miss Roberta, Joseph Armani, Duncan F, Junior B, Tony-Tony, Sergio Carbonaro, Malcolm B, Super Mario, DJ Ryan, DJ Blade, Conrad SK, Alvin Gee, Panzius, Cimetric, Stevy Vee, DJ Aaron, Tensihia, Carl Bee, JD Frank, DJ Ganni, Jonathan Abel, Clayton J and Alfie Fabri.
A number of local bands and singers will perform in the main area, including Ira Losco, Vittorio Gauci, Tribali, Winter Moods, Scream Daisy, Bitterside, Corkscrew, Scar, Ganni and Friends, J. Anvil, Ivan Filletti, The Broadcasters, Chris D'Alfonso, 4piay and Dripht.
People will have the opportunity to vote for the best artist for the best singer, DJ and band. Awards will also be presented to those who contributed and showed interest in the local music industry.
The event will also feature a number of international artists, including DJ Ross Peterson from the UK, DJ Boss, top DJ from Slovakia, Baresine (R'n'B live act) Live Band TAT from the UK, Andreas Lundstedt from renowned band Alcazar, Six4one with Keith Buttigieg and Steve Edwards who will perform current hits by Bob Sinclair and Axwell, as well as a number of old-time classics.
The evening will be hosted by Daniel, Owen and Sander of The Zinners Team. There will also be a wine and beer garden and mini restaurant. Tickets cost Lm5.75.
In the VIP area, opposite the stage, people will have the opportunity to meet the artists while enjoying a chilled drink and delicious finger foods prepared by an international chef. Parking will also be available close to the venue while free Sole Festival T-shirts will be given out. Tickets cost Lm10.
