St John Ambulance is holding a series of First Aid courses this month.

Courses will be held every Tuesday and Thursday in Valletta, starting on August 22 at 9.30 a.m. in Maltese and at 6.30 p.m. in English.

Another course in Maltese starts on August 28 at 6.30 p.m. and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays.

There will also be a course in Paola on nine consecutive Thursdays starting August 24 at 6 p.m.

All courses consist of nine lectures of approximately two hours each. The fee, Lm15, includes training material, handouts and certification. People aged 14 and over may apply.
