Hungary's top 100 metres sprinter Gabor Dobos has tested positive for raised levels of testosterone and faces a life ban, the Hungarian Athletics Association said.

Dobos failed a test on May 27 in Riga but only received notification this week, federation president Gusztav Rabold told Reuters.

Dobos is awaiting the result of his B sample and if that also proves positive, he will be banned for life because he has already served a two-year suspension after failing a test in 2000.
