As from today, the price of unleaded petrol and LRP will be slightly cheaper while diesel and fuel oils imported by Enemalta will be more expensive, the Department of Information said yesterday.
According to the DOI statement, a litre of unleaded petrol will now sell for 49c5 while LRP will sell for 52c5 per litre meaning both will be cheaper by 0c1 per litre. A litre of diesel will sell for 44c, a rise of 0c4 while kerosene will sell for 43c6 per litre meaning an increase of 0c3.
The price of light heating oil remains unchanged. The price of the following fuel oils, per tonne have increased as follows:
Thin fuel oil (200 degrees) up by Lm4 to Lm156; thin fuel oil (450 degrees) up by Lm3 to Lm151; thin fuel oil (950 degrees) up by Lm3 to Lm141.
