GlobalCapital is supporting the Travelex Life Cycle Challenge 2006 "Over and Above - Crossing the Arctic Circle" by means of financial sponsorship. Over 60 Maltese cyclists will be participating in this year's edition of the challenge.

The Life Cycle Challenge will take place between Sunday and August 12. The cyclists kick off their challenge in the Norwegian capital of Oslo and proceed through Kiruna in Sweden and Rovaniemi in Finland. In total, the cyclists will be covering over 2,000 km over 11 days.

"GlobalCapital is proud to support this initiative through which awareness and funds are raised for patients suffering from end stage renal failure. We wish the best of luck to the organisers, cyclists and the volunteers," said Franco Aloisio, GlobalCapital marketing manager.

The sponsorship was presented to Roberta Bonavia, a cyclist and representative of LifeCycle, who thanked GlobalCapital for its continued support.
