The Farsons Great Beer Festival at Ta' Qali kicks off tomorrow at 7.30 p.m.

The event will feature some 40 top local entertainers.

"The festival is an ideal outing for the whole family. Parents can enjoy the variety of entertainment, beers and food offered, while putting their mind at rest thanks to the play area that has been set up for young children," Matthew Cuomo, Beer Festival coordinator, said. A large variety of local and international beers will be available.

The festival, which runs until August 6, is sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority and Vodafone.

Entrance is free.
