Two plead guilty to water pumps theft
A man was yesterday fined Lm100 and another was conditionally discharged for a year after they admitted to stealing two water pumps.
Sandro Degabriele, 27, and Alexander Schembri, 51, both of Rabat pleaded guilty to stealing the pumps and a water fitting last Thursday.
Mr Degabriele also admitted to relapsing and was fined Lm100.
Mr Schembri was conditionally discharged.
Police Inspector Roland Cassar prosecuted.
Lawyers Michael Sciriha and Ian Farrugia were defence counsel.
