A travel agency yesterday filed a libel suit against the editor of The Malta Independent on Sunday.

Allied Travel Services Limited filed the suit in the Magistrates' Courts against Noel Grima as editor of the weekly paper. The company called on the court to hold Mr Grima liable in damages caused through an article entitled Maltese Cruise Line Passengers Cry Foul Over Tips Charged published on July 9.

Lawyers Michael Tanti-Dougall and Ian Vella Gregory signed the suit.
