The Union Haddiema Maghqudin and the Malta Maritime Authority have signed a new collective agreement for the authority's employees.

The union said the agreement was signed after months of discussion, and with the assistance of Competitiveness Minister Censu Galea and the government collective bargaining unit.

The agreement covers the years 2006-2010.
