A very interesting exhibition was held at St Cajetan Band Club, Hamrun on the occasion of the first centenary of its foundation. Only one thing was missing: the name and figure of a man who introduced the name of "Gejtu" in the minds and hearts of the people of Hamrun: Mgr Cajetan Pace Forno OSA, Archbishop of Rhodes and Bishop of Malta.

He built the parish church of Hamrun, gave the title of St Cajetan to the parish church, urged the Augustinians to give a quarry from where to cut stones for the building of the temple, embellished the church with the painting of St Cajetan, the work of Roman Pietro Gagliardi, and with the former marble high altar. An altar similar to it is at St Mark's, Rabat, donated by the same Bishop.

Yet, the name of this great benefactor of Hamrun was found nowhere in the exhibition.

If the people do not speak, the stones and paintings do. St Cajetan's church is a living monument to Mgr Pace Forno.
