Exiles RMF started their second division trek with victory over Otters, success which came their way thanks to their faster swimming, better movement and a wider array of goalscorers.

They also paraded a new overseas player from Holland, Marco Booij, who was taken on in lieu of compatriot Gerben Silvis.

On the other hand, the Gozitans, though full of fight, were never able to draw on their powers of recovery like they did on Friday against Marsascala. They were also made to chase an adverse scoreline which at the end was stretched to eight goals.

Exiles' zone had not only closed all avenues for Otters but served as a platform for fruitful breaks especially in the final session.
