FOI director general Wilfred Kenely formed part of the business delegation accompanying Foreign Affairs Minister Michael Frendo during the state visit to Tunisia by President Eddie Fenech Adami on July 4 and 5.

Among the various meetings scheduled during the official programme of the visit, Mr Kenely held meetings with the FOI's Tunisian counterpart - the Tunisian Employers' Association for Industry Trade and Handicraft (UTICA) - with whom the FOI has a collaborative agreement.

This agreement, which was signed in Malta earlier this year, is mainly aimed at setting up a joint business council between the two organisations and discussions ensued on the establishing of this council.
