Inter are close to securing the signing of Juventus midfielder Patrick Vieira, reports in Italy claim.

The France international appears likely to leave the Stadio Delle Alpi before the start of next season following Juve's relegation to Serie B.

The former Arsenal captain has been linked with a return to the Premiership with Manchester United, while Barcelona also hold an interest.

Vieira is being tipped to join Inter, with the Nerazzurri willing to pay in the region of €13 million for the experienced midfielder.
