The Malta Chamber for Small and Medium Enterprises - GRTU said yesterday it never agreed to a compulsory dual pricing system in connection with the euro changeover but suggested voluntary dual pricing for all businesses and a period of obligatory dual pricing for government organisations.

In view of the National Euro Changeover Committee's (NECC) decision on Thursday regarding an obligatory dual pricing system as from July 1, 2007, the GRTU has decided to continue not attending NECC meetings until an acceptable solution is found, it said.
