Having just returned to the UK following a most enjoyable holiday in Malta I feel I really must share my experience of Malta International Airport.

Having read in The Times (July 10) of a British couple's dissatisfaction I can only assume that either they were very unfortunate or we were lucky. I am sure we can all agree that overseas travel can be somewhat stressful but I can honestly say that our check-in and subsequent departure was not only completely stress free but was comfortably the quickest in my 25 years of extensive overseas travel.

If there are any holidaymakers still in Malta who are worried about their return arrangements having read the previous correspondence I hope they will feel a little more relieved after reading this.
