I cannot agree more with Tony Pace's letter regarding the so-called English language students coming to Malta year after year. Having my own business in St Julians, I speak to a lot of tourists and they all grumble about these students especially about their manners.

If we are not careful, these students are going to ruin our already fragile tourism sector. I would like to inform Mr Pace that in St Julians the situation is far worse than in Sliema. My elderly parents find it very difficult to sleep at night because of the noise these students make and in some streets people have to wash their cars every morning because of all the rubbish they find.

I hope the Ministry of Tourism will do something about this situation.
