A Senglea man was jailed for nine months for stealing a car and breaking into another earlier this year.

Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona found Floyd Attard, 21, guilty of stealing Walter Gambin's car and a mobile phone from another car in February.

He was also found guilty of breaching the conditions of a previous release and relapsing.

Police Inspector Michael Mallia prosecuted.
